Sunday Morning Dad Scribbles Volume 2

We have to be having a boy, right?

I think a lot of men really wish to have a boy, and I do too, but I would like to have a girl too.  I am just looking forward to being a dad.  However, Renee, Kim and Erin all had or is having a girl.  Do we need to throw in another girl to the mix or shake it up with a boy?  If we have a girl then we may have to send them to Edinboro to be Fighting Scots.  If we have a boy he could probably play with their girls and only improve his athletic abilities.  I heard Embry has great hands, quick decision making skills and is sometimes found with her arms up.  Madeline was born an outside hitter.  I just know it.  Too soon to recognize the intesity.  And Delainey is already breaking records (for height) in the womb.

I always thought it was funny that you guys were in the PSAC but now it is taking on a whole different meaning.  Housing our babies for 9 months and getting them ready for the real world.  So true, so deep in meaning!

Big ups to my sister and Thor for sending our first bib with the text, "Somebody loves me in Rhode Island."  Fantastic stuff.

We slept in our new and improved bed last night for the first time.  We got a 3 inch memory foam mattress topper.  It is really nice.  Pretty much hugs your body.  We think it will be great for Marissa as we get closer to September.

Well gotta go to church.  Saying my prayers for a healthy baby BOY!

Here's to a good week.  Later.

  1. according to the chinese gender chart - you guys are having a boy. It has yet to be wrong with any of us. But a little girl would be welcomed with open arms and maybe even a set of ribbons for her hair (that how volleyball girls role) And I am going to throw it out there, but I don't see fighting scotts in the near future - maybe Buckeyes...or Bobcats...or who knows - but no fighting scotts.

Congrats again JB! Either way, you and rissy will be amazing parents! love you guys!

  2. I could have swore Tony DeLiberato once said that his granddaughters will be born with tennis rackets in their hands, as he was fed up with team sports. However, I may be wrong. Go Flyers!
